Some links that I have found helpful and informative during my slog through the jungles of infertility are:
This site has a some interesting tools, but what I like most about it is the communities on the forums. There are threads specific to most fertility clinics in Canada (and some internationally) and it’s a good place to connect with people at your clinic or cycling at the same time as you. Just beware the forums don’t give you more stress than reassurance- they can be sneaky that way.
Oxford Journal of Reproductive Medicine
I have found some very helpful information in this journal. I think you might not be able to access full journal text for free (I have access through a school login), but even the abstracts give a good synopsis of some of the research that has been done on infertility. Be careful and recognize that the information is often only based on one study and may not reflect current practices in reproductive medicine.
Resolve – The National Infertility Association (USA)
This is association directed at supporting those dealing with infertility. There is an infertility forum available here as well. If you live in the USA there are also listings for support groups as well.
Infertility Awareness Association of Canada
This site is a great resource for Canadian’s dealing with IF. There are listings for support groups, information on fertility clinics and IVF funding and much more.
I will add to this list as I go..
